Board Meeting Minutes

Februry 3, 2010

6:30pm

 

 

 

Call to order at 6:33pm, quorum met.

 

Attendees:  Frank North, Caryn Neal, Steve Jackson, Sara Wallace

 

I. Old Business

                           ·   Financials

o Caryn sent 1099 Misc to Eric for 2009

o     Filed 1096 in conjunction with 1099

o    Taxes being filed by April 15

o   Caryn to discuss collection letter with Marv

o   Caryn to get info on opening a higher earning CD

         ·   Property Management Company

o   Frank to email questionnaire to fill out, everyone reply to all

o   Everyone to obtain a quote on one PMC for March meeting

         ·    Lights at entrance

o   Sara presented detailed quote from Jeff at CarolinaPower. 

o  Board voted to proceed with quote on replacing current lights and removing lights at flag poles

o   Sara to contact CarolinaPower to begin work

         ·        Flag poles

o  Discussed quote from Siedel signs

o  Board voted to remove flag poles and update islands

o  Frank to call landscaper

o  Frank to call  Siedel flags to remove poles

         ·   No Soliciting signs

o   Sara to obtain permits from city and proceed with adding signs to poles at the entrances

         ·   Phone Log

o    Misc calls discussed

o     Caryn to be removed from the list as she is responsible for email account

o     Frank responsible for calls for February

         ·   Speed Bumps

o   Board voted to not install

     ·    Speeders should be reported to Greer PD, or the HOA can write a letter of complaint with the threat of police action for continuing to speed

         ·   Board position

o   Frank to flyer neighborhood for those interested to contact the HOA

o   Sara spoke with several neighbors and offered suggestions of those interested, if no response from flyers, proceed with those interested

         ·    Community Relations

o  Offer position to Johnny Drake

·    Sara to email Johnny

o  No response from Ms. Berg regarding offer of position

                         ·   Home at corner of RCC & Fawnbrook

o  Bushes still creating hazard, getting worse

·    Frank to speak with homeowner regarding this

          ·     Pool Priviledges

  o   Sara to contact a few more subdivisions including Del Norte

 

**Next meeting to be held March 1st, 6:30pm at Frank North’s house 222 Big Fox Lane.
