- Trash pickup weekly on Wednesday, needs to be out in approved container by 7am
- Recycling curbside - pickup on Wednesday, paper/cardboard and aluminum cans only weekly on Wednesday
- Yard debris - weekly pickup anytime from Thursday starting at 7am to Friday at 6 pm; grass, leaves, small twigs must be bagged in yard bags (I assume this is those big black trash bags); clippings from bushes are accepted, so long as they do not exceed the capacity of a pickup truck bed; a few small tree limbs are acceptable; any large bushes or amount of tree limbs must be taken to the landfill.
- Appliances and no more than one piece of furniture at a time can be picked up roadside, but the city should be called ahead of time as a special truck is sent to collect these (864) - 848-2184
- There is a landfill transfer station about three miles out of Greer their number is (864) -895-4774. if something needs to be removed outside of the above.
